have read that the Romans had several fortresses in Swiss Alps..did they also have one in todays "Frank Fort" regiion of Germany? or before the Frankish armies started this town was there anything there previous? how far from the "Teutonberg forrest" was the area of "Frank fort"? and how the "Franks" were different than the "Germans" in "Germania"? also, why after the fall of the Roman Empire would Frankish armies adopt Christianity which was a ROMAN religion? please explain what you can thanks for your answers!...
